Velumount® is an individually fitted oral device which targets snoring and OSA. It is NOT a mandibular advancement splint or mouthguard and does not depend on your bite or dental structure when fitted. The device will be fitted during, or after one of our workshops which take approximately 2-3 hours. During this time, full training in the use and handling of the Velumount® will be provided.
The Velumount® is worn during the night when you are asleep.
The different materials used were selected for their adaptability to surface tension, their strength and flexibility. Most importantly, individual anatomy and wearing comfort were specific factors considered in the selection of materials.
The Velumount® is available in different shapes and forms to target specific problems and individual anatomical differences. During the workshop you will be advised by the Therapist on the most suitable solution for you. The Therapist will also customise fit it to suit your individual anatomy and you will receive training on how to use it.
